The Freescale DPAA architecture consists of a series of hardware blocks that support Ethernet connectivity. The Ethernet driver depends upon the following drivers in the Linux kernel: Peripheral Access Memory Unit (PAMU) (* needed only for PPC platforms)Estimated Reading Time: 5 mins. It contains a V2 Coldfire core with up to MHz, 16MB SDRAM, 2MB Flash and a 10/ MBit Ethernet controller. As downloaded this demo application includes a fully functional port of lwIP for FreeRTOS together with a driver for the MCFx ethernet interface. · Documentation / networking / device_drivers / ethernet / freescale / dpaa2 / www.doorway.ru Based on kernel version Page generated on EST.
This file provides documentation for the Freescale DPAA2 Ethernet driver. Supported Platforms ¶ This driver provides networking support for Freescale DPAA2 SoCs, e.g. LSA, LSA, LSA. Some members of the Freescale ColdFire family of processors come with an on-chip ethernet device. This package provides an eCos driver for that device. The driver supports both polled mode for use by RedBoot and interrupt-driven mode for use by a full TCP/IP stack. Ethernet support comes from a slightly modified ENET driver. The Saber and Wandboard use a AR PHY which is a RGMII PHY. The cdl adds support for RGMII. There is a new define for RGMII along with a few new pin macros. The pin macros required an include from the Freescale SDK that is part of the HAL, so rather than include this in the ENET.
This patch series adds the Ethernet driver for the Freescale QorIQ Data Path Acceleration Architecture (DPAA). This version includes changes following the. Ethernet support was extended and verified on the Freedom K64F. A Kinetis USB device controller driver and PWM support was contributed by kfazz. NXP/FreeScale. www.doorway.ru Driver for Freescale MPC85XX TSEC Ethernet controllers. Note: This driver is shipped only with the BSPs that need.
